For the groom and the wedding party

Since 1987 our Hong Kong house has made clothes for more than 45,000 clients, including around 5,000 grooms. A wedding suit or tuxedo made to your measurements photographs well, feels comfortable from the ceremony through the last dance, and stays in your wardrobe long after the celebration. We can dress the groom, and it is worth asking about suits for fathers and groomsmen too, so the whole party looks considered without looking identical. If you are a guest with a few weddings on the list, a well-cut navy or charcoal suit will see you through all of them.

A work wardrobe for downtown Chicago

For the Loop, River North or a client meeting across town, a small number of excellent suits and shirts goes much further than a closet of near-misses. At your appointment we can plan a sensible rotation: a navy and a grey suit, perhaps a sport coat for less formal days, and shirts with the collar and cuff that suit you. Suits start from USD 695 and shirts from USD 105. Prices are garment from-prices, premium fabrics are priced separately, and we go through the options with you before you order. Shipping to the US is free.

Because the appointments are on North Michigan Avenue, it is easy to plan an appointment around the working day, whether you are coming from an office downtown, staying in the city on business or combining it with an afternoon on the Magnificent Mile.

Cloth for a Chicago winter and the holiday season

A November visit is a good moment to think about the colder months. Winter-weight wools and flannels are soft, warm and comfortable on a windy walk along the river, and they look richer under evening light. Deep navy, charcoal and darker, quieter tones read as festive at a holiday party but are still perfectly correct at the office the following Monday.

If a year-end gala, a New Year's Eve celebration or a winter wedding calls for black tie, a tuxedo made to your measurements is one of the most useful things you can own, and it will serve you for many occasions to come.

Delivery is normally 6–8 weeks after your fitting, so an order placed in early November typically arrives in December. If you have a particular date in mind, tell us when you book; delivery can be arranged sooner if needed.

Suits, shirts and more, for men and women

Rashmi makes men's and women's suits, as well as shirts, tuxedos and sport coats. Whatever you have in mind, the approach is the same: a garment cut to your measurements, in a cloth you have chosen yourself, with the details settled around how you actually live and dress. With around 2,000 fabrics to choose from, there is plenty of room for both the classic and the more personal.

What happens at your appointment

Your fitting is private and one-to-one with Larry, the proprietor, who has been making clothes in Hong Kong since 1987. We start with fabric selection, so it is worth thinking in advance about colours and patterns you like; Larry will guide you and offer suggestions too. Together you settle the details of cut, lapels, buttons and lining, and then Larry takes your measurements, which takes about 30 minutes. Your order is made in Hong Kong and shipped to you.
