Since 1987 our Hong Kong house on Nathan Road has dressed around 5,000 grooms. A wedding suit or tuxedo made to your measurements photographs well, feels comfortable through a long day, and stays in your wardrobe long after the celebration. We can dress the groom, and it is worth asking about suits for fathers and groomsmen too, so the whole party looks considered without looking identical. If you are a guest, a well-cut navy or charcoal suit will see you through every wedding on the list.

A work wardrobe that works
For the office, a small number of excellent suits and shirts goes much further than a closet of near-misses. At your appointment we can plan a sensible rotation: a navy and a grey suit in year-round cloth, perhaps a sport coat for lighter days, and shirts with the collar and cuff that suit you. Suits start from HK$3,500 and shirts from HK$580; premium fabrics are priced separately, and we go through the options with you before you order. Shipping to the US is free. And if the holidays are on your mind, an October order leaves time to think about that too.

Sport coats for a New England autumn
Not every day calls for a full suit. A custom sport coat, an odd jacket worn without matching trousers, may be the most versatile thing in a Boston wardrobe. Wear it with grey flannels for a client lunch, with chinos on a smart-casual office day, or with dark jeans for dinner on the weekend. Because it is cut to your measurements, it sits cleanly at the shoulders and collar and moves with you, which is what makes an odd jacket look deliberate rather than borrowed from a suit.

For the months ahead, the cloths are part of the pleasure. Tweed brings texture and warmth for crisp October afternoons and snowy walks through the Back Bay. Flannel is soft, quiet and comfortable from late autumn through winter. Hopsack, with its open basket weave, is a useful all-rounder that keeps its shape and breathes well in an overheated office. What happens at your appointment
Your fitting is private and one-to-one with Larry, the proprietor, who has been making clothes in Hong Kong since 1987. You choose from around 2,000 fabrics, settle the details of cut, lapels, buttons and lining, and then Larry takes your measurements, which usually takes around 30 minutes. Your order is made in our Hong Kong workshop and shipped to you. Delivery is normally 6–8 weeks, and it can often be arranged sooner if you have a date to meet.
