Champaign is getting a visit from Rashmi Custom Tailors this autumn. On Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October 2026, Vijay will be in town for a two-day trunk show, bringing bespoke tailoring closer to home. If you have been meaning to have a suit made that truly fits, this is a relaxed and unhurried way to start.

Rashmi Custom Tailors is a bespoke family tailor, founded by Larry Rashmi, and we have been making clothes since 1987. Every client gets their own pattern, cut from their own measurements. Nothing is taken off a rack or scaled up from a standard size, so each finished garment follows your shape and the way you like to dress.

Vijay is visiting Champaign, Illinois on two days. On Thursday 29 October 2026, appointments run from 1pm to 8pm. On Friday 30 October 2026, they run from 9am to 1pm. The visit takes place at Home2 Suites by Hilton Champaign, 2013 South Neil Street. Vijay does the fittings himself, so you will meet the person who measures you.

What to expect at your fitting

A fitting takes about 45 minutes. Vijay takes your measurements, and together you choose the fabric and the style. Once your order is placed, the finished garments are shipped to you.
